WITH THE QUOTE ABOVE, JEN DOWNER OF SHE SAW THINGS PHOTOGRAPHY PERFECTLY ENCAPSULATES HER ART.

In her own words, Jen Downer is a “lifestyle portrait photographer for beautifully messy, miraculously complicated, ferociously loving couples & families. The kind that don’t own matching black turtlenecks — and prefer cookie batter & cuddle piles to chin-on-knuckles yearbook poses.” And here at PicTapGo, we love her for it.

What does mobile photography mean to you?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wished I had a brain camera. You know, where you snap a photo with the blink of an eye and have access to that image forever? THAT would totally be my superhero power if I ever got to pick one! My iPhone has become the next best thing.

I have a busy family life - a kid who doesn’t love being in front of the camera, and an Autistic child who is constantly on the move. Having a camera so convenient, so quick, and so effortless that I can whip out of my pocket or bag and capture a fleeting moment with zero fuss is such a blessing to me.

What is your favorite feature/filter/thing about PicTapGo?

It was pretty much love at first sight with PicTapGo and me. The filters are beautiful, and the ability to so easily layer and adjust them BLOWS MY MIND. I also love the ability to save your recipes… making iPhonography even that much more convenient.

I find myself able to get a look with PicTapGo that I’ve not been able to create with any of the other 74 camera apps I’ve owned. Oh, and I love that you can load full frame images with white borders straight into Instagram. SCORE! It’s my go-to app now. Wait, that’s more than one favorite thing! Too many to choose just one.
