Amanda Worrall is a photographer who uses the freedom of mobile to capture the gorgeous photos that can be found anywhere.
I am a passionate portrait photographer and mother of two that never seems to have enough time in a day. If we just choose to look for it, beauty can be found anywhere, even in the most unlikely places. I am grateful for the opportunity to capture the goodness in life, and am fueled and inspired by the people, colors, textures, and designs around me.
What does mobile photography mean to you?
I became interested in mobile photography a couple of years ago when I realized how cumbersome it can be to carry my professional equipment to events and on vacations, where I wanted to be fully present, not just “the photographer.” So, I bought an iPhone, but quickly became frustrated because I couldn’t make my iPhone images match my vision…until I discovered PicTapGo. PicTapGo allows me to edit my images quickly with easy-to-use filters and sliders, and gives me the freedom to simply enjoy the moment. I love that I can edit photos in just a few seconds in the carpool line!
What is your favorite PicTapGo feature?
I love how easy it is to use PicTapGo. There really isn’t a learning curve because it’s so simple and user-friendly. I love that I can layer the filters and control the strength of each filter with the sliders. It’s brilliant! I often use Lights On or Lights Out to adjust my exposure, Warm It Up or Cool It Down to adjust the white balance, and + Contrast to add definition. I also like High Fives, Skinny Jeans, and Fade to Gray to give them a matte look. It’s really fun to play with them all!
